Can you do wedding ceremonies?

Yes, we have an adjacent room which can be set up like a chapel for the ceremony.   Two hours are allotted for the wedding; including guests? arrival, wedding and post wedding pictures.

How much of a deposit do you have for a wedding?

 The wedding is $750.00 additional.

What does your ceremony cost include?

The cost includes two 7-light candelabras, a unity candelabra, Wedding Colonnade, 3 Pair 4ft Roman Columns with Aisle Drape and Florals and a pair of kneeling benches. A wedding planner can requested at an additional charge.  Should you have your own, they must coordinate with our event specialist during your final meeting.

How much time do we have for our rehearsal and when is it scheduled?

One and a half hours of rehearsal time usually Thursday or Friday prior to your wedding, space and time permitting, and is included in the cost of the ceremony.  The time will be scheduled within 3 weeks of your wedding.

What is the capacity of Inviting Events?

Inviting Events can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated reception and 300 for a standing reception.

What is the best way to tour Inviting Events?

It is best to stop by one of our Open Houses, usually scheduled every two to four weeks and will be posted on our website.  Otherwise you should call to schedule a meeting time, as we are available for appointments only.  770 972-3916
How do I reserve a date at Inviting Events?  

An Event Security payment of 25% of the total and a  Damage deposit is due to hold a reservation must be paid at the time the contract is signed.   

What is the payment schedule for my event once I have reserved Inviting Events? The second payment of 50% of the total is due 60 days prior to the event. Final Payment is due in full 30 days prior to your function when you meet with your Event Specialist for final planning and guest count.  All payments made within 14 days or less prior to event must be paid in the form of cash, money order or  cashiers? check and will be assessed a 5% late fee.

Does Inviting Events offer Catering?

You bring in your own caterer.


What does the facility fee include? 
Our staff will set the Facility per package ordered, to your specifications keeping space allowance and expected number of guests to be in attendance in mind. 
How long is the typical reception?
Rental time slots are six hours. The actual reception time is typically 4 to 4 1/2  hours allowing the remaining 1 1/2 to 2 hours for set up and break down of DJ, Cake, caterer and your personal items.  The wedding time slot is two hours.
Can I purchase additional time for my reception?
Additional hours can be purchased at the time of contract signing depending  upon availability.
What if we go over our scheduled time?
If your scheduled time is breached, there will be a charge of $300.00 per hour or fraction thereof and is due at the moment of time breach and/or the deposit may be retained.
Who will help me plan my reception?
Our Event Specialist will work directly with you to help plan all aspects including room set up, coordinating vendor deliveries, cake and beverage arrival, because when it has to be right, you can leave the details to us.
Who will manage my reception?
Our professional banquet manager will have all your details and be in charge of your event.
Do you have cake cutting fees?
We do not charge extra for cake cutting and service when our service staff is provided.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Yes, however, with an additional charge and must be approved.  All of these events require Gwinnett County Police Security.  Any unauthorized beverages will be removed immediately and possibly result in loss of deposit.
Can we bring our own decorations?
You are welcomed to bring in decorations to make the event your very own.  This must be done within the rental time unless specific arrangements have been made.
What kind of linens does Inviting Events provide?
Inviting Events has larger white cloths for the bottoms and your choice an assortment of colors for the overlay and an assortment of colored napkins as well.
Do you allow outside catering?
ABSOLUTELY!!– Rules Apply
What does Inviting Events include
 
We include with our "EVERYTHING, But THE FOOD!", your choice of available linens, chair covers with available colored sash, House Centerpieces, choice of gold or silver charger plates, Cloth Napkins, Tea light candles, salt & pepper, Skirted Buffet Tables with Silver Chafers (food warmers), Serving Utensils and use of beverage serving containers. Also includes Glass Plates, Tea Goblets, Champagne Flutes, Silverware, A Large  Dance Floor,  Head Table Service, Numbered & Reserved Tables, Professional Service Staff(required at additional cost), Cake Cutting Service.  D J Table, special table set up for cake, gift table and Silver Cake Risers .   Silver Punch Fountain available at additional cost.
